I originally thought that the big fat "bluebottles" were responsible for fly strike . I have recently been told that it is only the greenish type which cause the problem . Does this sound right ? Thanks .

It's greenbottles, lucilia caesar.
My friend is a doctor and worked with Street people in Latin America...she has had to deal with plenty of human infestations, if you can believe it!
