On Nov. 1, the American actor, social+environmental activist and philanthropist Ed Norton (Primal Fear, Fight Club, American History X) is running the New York Marathon together with 3 Maasai warriors and a team of some 30 supporting runners in aid of the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust.
From what I have read this seems to me to be a superb cause, a truly inspiring conservation and sustainable development initiative.
