So if I understand well you actually cut the stalk down don't you ?

so far I only stripped the leaves of it and left the stalk .. plenty of leaves left to harvest .. and most of them are in bloom now .. so hopefully they will self seed somehow ..

if they don't, I might be interested in some of your seeds ..

or better still we could swap some between us ..

You guys seem to be on a roll with this. LOL, Seriously though I do hope that you guys know what you are doing. I have been trying to remember what was said in the documentary about processing your own baccy. I think that it had something to do with the lack of sunlight intensity in these northern climes to eradicate some chemical nasty in the leaves. I will hush my mouth now.

yes we cut down the complete plant as soon as it seeds , and regrowth starts with in a very short time no need to reseed the plant just keeps on growing Very Happy  as for any other problems they come from the curing and you can tell straight away by the smell , we lost one batch that went wrong that way. tobbaco is grown in the uk by quite a few home growers check out coffin nails.co.uk.
