Is 5 miles to the NW of Tubbercury ( Tobercurry ) too far for you to travel ? The river bordering my land is full of boulders and I wouldn't have thought the best for eels but the locals tell me that there were plenty there a good few years ago . There is an easily accesible place where they washed chickens after dressing them . Apparently eels would get hold of any carcass left in the water for more than a few minutes .

Very whitty !
Will be working Sat but should be back to life Sun afternoon . The river is very high at present but please do call anytime . Failing all else I have always fancied using a beachcaster to chuck a big worm out into Loch Easky . Just never got around to it . It would be good to meet up again anyway .
