Never mind looking for greenfly . This well cammoflaged visitor destroyed a good few of my trees overnight  Evil or Very Mad

Is there much of a gap that they come through. We have some spare deer fencing left, if you want to have a go. It's bloody heavy but does the job.

Many thanks for the offer but I would need to fence at least 150 yards around the Faerie Wood and another 100 or so beside the road . Milk cartons on sticks and a lot of shouting by me seem to be the only practical solution for now . Meanwhile I have a legitimate man with a gun on standby !

I hardly dare say it but they haven't been up there for a while . Probably because they can't see the tasty trees thru the jungle which has grown while I haven't been up there myself either .
Tinker's pony got in the other day . Ate the runner beans . Feck , if it isn't one thing it is another !!
