Our 2 Old spots sows have just had litters, of 9 and 3. The sire is a Duroc/Pietrain cross with the result that we have some very strong pigs and all are beautifully marked. We will have these weaners ready to go on the weekend of the 9th of May. 70 euro each.
Loacated in South Dublin, couple of minutes from the M50 and 7/8 minutes from the N81. Herd number required.

Well I believe that the duroc crossed with saddlebacks is a popular cross and I have heard that GOS meat is the sweetest(apologies to other breed enthusiasts) so I reckon that as the duroc will inject some leaness it should help to take the pigs on to bacon weight (fattiness wise) and of course the GS bit should make the bacon weight pork excellent as well.
Could well be talking out of my arse though!! |
