lovely Pics Mel. I have never heard a cuckoo here in Ireland and as yet no swallows this year. Hardly surprising with the cold spring that we have had.  We have six surviving dorking chicks that now are the size of starlings. We have got some veg planted in the open ground and in the poly Cool . So onward and upward Very Happy

We have had "our" swallows back for the last two weeks and heard a cuckoo a few times near the forest. Last year we were very lucky as we saw a cuckoo in the garden. We heard it calling in the trees and then it flew across the lawn to the big trees calling as it went.

Lots of bumble bees out and about and lots of midges here, Blowin if you need any  Twisted Evil

It's a great time of year.
