An interesting tip from one of our friends over at RC : - geese can be an effective control because they eat the host ( snail ) and its eggs , thereby breaking the fluke's breeding cycle .
That seems to make sense but those snails are very small so I wonder how many the geese would really eat ? Has anyone else heard of this method ?

I am sure they would control the snails to a greater or lesser degree, but I am of the opinion that denying them their ideal habitat would be a first choice in their control.
