we are thinking of the possibilety of raising wild boar, but not having any experiance with such beasts(can,t be that different to pigs, can it? ) we would appreciate any help or information you may have. first we need to find some, second do we need a dangerours animals license? we have the right conditions in which to keep them i am sure of that.

I don't have wild boar at the moment but it wouldn't take long to aggravate a tame one if that would be any good .

No personal experience but there was a segment on last Sunday's Coutnryfile about someone in Scotland keeping wild boars.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/countryfile is their website - I'm not sure if you can download past episodes.  She did say that she needed a dangerous animals licence so it's possible you'd need one here too.
