I am surprised at how few different types of fossil can be found in the NW . Perhaps I have been looking in the wrong places but local quarrymen , stonemasons , well-borers and winkle-pickers don't seem to be any the wiser. Can't find much on the net , either .
Has anyone found anything of real interest ?
These things , which look like and are similar in diameter to ram's horns are everywhere along the coast . I guess they are any early form of coral . Can anyone be more specific ? Cheers .
