Can anyone suggest what would make up a really good , durable , set of wood carving tools , and where I might get them from ?
I was thinking of chisels and suchlike but any recommendations re: the craft tools with loads of little accessories would also be useful . I got a cheap one from Lidl which isn't bad but doesn't have much power . Are the Dremmel ( sp ? ) ones worth all that money ?
I will be cutting fairly intricate curvy shapes rather than flat or angular ones and the intended medium is bog oak , which seems to cut like cheese when freshly dug but turns to iron when seasoned .
Many thanks .
