Yep it sure is. Its especially nice to be so close to the hustle and bustle but have a nice peacefull spot like this to look at the 'madness' from a distance.
I want to keep hens as well but you would not believe the amount of foxes around, as a result I suppose of having a huge food supply for them so close (bins etc).
Another pain is little buggers wandering around setting fire to ditches as well.(kids not foxes)(no, not young goats) |

It's a nice view of the city, in it I can see Howth head, the Ringsend power station (put there just so you know you are in Dublin!) and is that Bray head on the right. I always think cities look good from a high vantage point, it makes them look so small and you can orientate yourself.
If anyone is in the city centre near Smithfield I would recomend visiting the viewing tower, you can see the whole city from it. If possible go up just before sunset, see the city in daylight and then see it with all the lights on, its well worth a visit. _________________ www.freewebs.com/paisti Knitwear for Children |

Bray head would be kinda at your 4 or 5 o clock position from this vantage point. Howth head is on the right and what you think is Howth head is Lambay island. Yep its real nice looking at it from a distance.
