Hi I am new to this so be good to me. The site was recommended to me by Camile, who is a good friend.

My hubby & I have a smallholding of 18 acres. We moved here from UK 4 years ago, and we love it.

Amongst other animals we have 2 sows who we have bred from already using AI. We are now searching for a boar to breed with them. My girls are very big so we need a big fella to look after them.

Anybody out there have any idea where I can buy one?

Many thanks, Tina Wink

Hi Tina and welcome to the forum . Very Happy
Are you looking for any particular breed and would it have to be Registered pure bred ?
I have a pb GOS boar but he is only 10 months old and altho I have no experience of these things I am pretty sure he would be far too small to cover a mature large white .
I will be very surprised if someone on the forum can't at least point you in the right direction . Good luck . Wink

Hi Blowin and Tina ..

Indeed Boris won't be able to service this sow .. she's at least the double in size, if not more ..

I was talking to Tina and apparently a Tamworth sounds ideal .. or anything crossed with it ..

no one has that laying around that they don't use ? Laughing

Camile
