another one ! that's 4 hens out of 7 !

and this one is "supposed to be" an Ancona .. I say supposed because they are not supposed to go broody .. and are fairly good layers of smallish white eggs ... she layed throughout the winter barely missing a day since october last ..

they ALOMST never go broody, but any bird will sometime start siting on eggs. the man i got my first birds of, had a roster that wasbroody it had hatched 2 eggs and was rasing the chicks well.so you never know.

the rooster went broody !?! Shocked class ..

I have a silky rooster that minds the chicks like a mum .. but he never got broody on me .. yet .. Cool
