Does anyone know if the breed is in Ireland? I have talked to a few breeders in England and have been told that they were introduced but have since been interbreed with pygmy goats so the breed is no longer pure.
Can one get the pure strain in Ireland or must one go to the US for them?

Don't know GB. I've seen pygmy goats in Dublin zoo pet corner and the pet farm near Athlone (deer park I think). You could try phoning them to see what they have.
