Ok. then,
lets get this Topic started of,
any one got one, or planning a dry toilet, (or dry bog),
John Seymour gives reasonably detailed plans for one in his self sufficiency book, any other views?

Haha , we do need an interpreter and I might have one in mind . ( You know who you are . Yes , you ) .
In Ireland "turf" = peat . You burn it in the range as a rule .
"Bog" = the flat wet area of land with hidden sumps you can disappear into , which is where the "turf" comes from .
It is a very labour intensive , 4 stage process to get the tooth-paste textured raw material from the bog into your barn in a halfway reasonable condition .
"Toilet"= anywhere outside . Well , it does for blokes around here anyway Laughing
Ooops -- diverting the thread , sorry Embarassed . Would you ( see above ) like to start a "translations" thread ? Please Very Happy . As long as you don't think it would be asking for trouble Laughing .
