This is approx 9 inches tall but will grow to about 6 feet. I am encouraging it into the wilder areas and hopefully the pond area of the garden.
The next one is for Blowin. It is about 4 inches in diamiter and on an old Beech log. It is quite solid to the touch.

Hi Quarryman,
I've not found this one myself, but as a 'from the books' id it looks like Caper Spurge, Euphorbia lathyrus.
If you'd like it included in the website I'd be delighted to add it and credit you for the photography?
I'd like the website to show as many of the plants flowering wild here as possible so all contributions are welcome and also vital
- chances of me spotting and photographing them all are nil minus and it would be great to include other peoples photos of
plants that are missing. |

Please go ahead and include it. If you would like me to get a few better shots I can put them on Photobucket and you can use the ones you want.

Hmmm , Precise i/d of that one is a bit out of my field because it is definitely not edible . It is certainly an odd shape . At first I thought it was an old puffball which had fallen over ( stem pointing to the right ) but it is in fact broadly attached at the base , isn't it ? I can't see anything like it in my ref book but am sure it is an immature Bracket fungi of some sort ...... but they don't normally grow vertically .
Is the picture the right way up ( not getting your own back , are you ? ) |

Hi Gardener, glad to be of help. That is turning out to be a magnificent database of our wild flowers, I hope teachers and educators use it and give you the credit due to your hard work.
