Is it me or do vets over here seem to wait longer to put animals out of their misery, why should it matter if its live stock or not, or have I s*&^e vets…

I am sorry for your loss. To be really cynical your vet will earn more money if he treated your animal first and then had to come back and put it down. I am not saying this is the case but it is a fact. An animal should always be given a chance of course and the vet will do this. The animals value verses his bill may not be an issue with the family pet but, commercial stock !!.
