Does anyone know what the shiney metallic looking blob might be ? It is very hard / difficult to scratch . Definitely within the rock rather than dropped onto it ie is not man-made  .
There is a lot of quartz and iron pyrites around here ( Ox Mts , Co Sligo ) but I haven't found anything else quite like this .

I have seen a similar looking object in a quarry in Norfolk. I was led to believe it to be a meteor fragment.

Shocked  Shocked  Shocked
I have only recently uncovered it . So that's where Graney's alien life form came from  ! Laughing  Laughing
It would be fantastic if it is a piece of meteorite . Any suggestions as to how / where to get it checked ?

Many thanks for that   .
It might be quicker to send the rock by parcel than a pic by email but I will  let you know what they say .  Wink   Laughing  .
