hi I am looking for female kid goats for bothar.
I just got three lambs and want to get some kids to keep with them.
does anyone know where I would get female kid goats from milking breeds in Cork.
the person who normally gives them to me will have non this year.
so I'm looking for a new supply.
they will be coming to a place where they will be spoilt by my three boys to the point of costing me a fortune

I've finally found some kids, it turns out that bothar is looking to cut costs and ask people to rear only the number of goats they can afford to send to Africa. so I am getting kids from bothar.
they are looking for people to rear kids for them for six months to a year.
Would anybody out there be able to take some kids if you can it would mean bothar would have more money to send the goats out to Africa.

Hello Pat,
A friend of us gave a heifer in calf last year to a local man doing it for Bothar ..
As far as I know the cow has been sent to Africa a few months back now ..
Nice gesture if you can afford it.
And regarding the goats, would Bothar take on the goat proof fencing of the field ?

no I don't think so. they are trying to save money not spent it. But it might be worth asking them.
but if someone was keeping pet lambs it wouldn't cost you very much to add a kid onto them
I will be keeping the kids with my four new lambs,
