Hello

It sounds bad enough but you can simply attach a stick (larger than the holes in the wire) to her horns ..

it won't hurt her and will prevent her from being stuck as she won't be able to put it through ..

Might need to be reseted in place daily as he aim in life will become to get stuck again ..

Good luck,
Camile

This has worked for me in the past, drill a couple of holes in a piece of wood so they just fit over the horns, then gaffer tape the wood to the horns.Don't leave  too much overhang at the ends.

The problem I have with these ideas is lots of people passing the field look in as I have them with Falabella     ponies. and all of these people know nothing about what is good for an animal  but  know all about the way  other people should look after animals they know nothing about.
so   what I really need is a politically correct solution????????????????????

or a solution which looks politically correct   ????

The only other cheap option is to tether it,might not be practical with other stock in the same field.Anything else is going to cost, feeding inside, electric fence,or have it dehorned.I know what you mean about other people minding your business for you, sometimes things have to be done for the animals own safety.
