I would like to collect a few pieces of old / obsolete equipment such as a horse-drawn plough and grass cutter , hand-turned machines and domestic utensils such as the cast-iron skilleens (sp ?) but I have no idea what they are worth . I imagine that they are already " collectors items " but there are still a few knocking about in old sheds .
Could anyone provide a few pointers or , even better , a couple of examples with what they would say are fair prices ? Cheers .

At first I thought you were talking about my car but then I realised it is the contents of my house you are on about. |

Hi Blowin. If you had posted this four days ago I would have given you my circa 1942 Trusty Tractor as the beast would not start However, it chugged and snorted into life and did an afternoons fare work so maybe I will keep it . Knowing you as a man of schemes, I wonder what you are up to this time. Such equipment as you seek are often obtained "On Loan" if that's any help. Good luck. _________________ Leave not a trace. |

Too many schemes and too few end results !
These things are already quite "collectible" and will become more so I think they will significantly increase in value in 3 to 5 year's time .
