We loved your place Camile. It was interesting to hear that your extension is timber frame. We are taking the 40 sq meters option which will also be timber framed. As our ground slopes away we will need to build the extension on piers. This will give us a grate view over the small valley and our paddock. It will also give us a cellar with eight foot of head room Very Happy

Did you employ a timber frame company to do your build or just got a carpenter to build to your plans?

Hi Wayyland, all the creedits goes to Meli-Melo for thee deesign.

But our extension is a "complete building" linked to thee cottage by a flat roof .. so building rules were simple enough that being blocks of timber frame makes no differeence ...

you might be on something harder design wise with the piers ...
