Here's my hen house! Its just a standard modified 8x6 garden shed with a run:
The view from the back:
View from the front:
View inside. I have wired off the last 3 feet of the shed with a gate. The hens roost on the left and have nesting boxes on the right. You can see from this setup that I can go into the shed and clean it/get the eggs very easily. You can also see the mini run I built for the chicks on the bottom left.
The chicks in their little run!!
Happy hens in the field!

Thats a good hen house. We have an old shed to move and I had thought of using it for hens, my daughter wants to use it for the cats and my husbans wants if for fuel and a rubbish store, so many use one little shed.
anyway, im not rushed yet, I need to get the garden sorted and fencin g up before I do anything. I just want to have all the info first.
Thanks all, loads of ideas _________________ www.freewebs.com/paisti Knitwear for Children |
