Just curious to know whether many networking or useful new contacts have come about thru' this forum . There are all our readers and contributors , of course , but I was thinking more of personal meetings . Probably best not to actually name any individuals but , for example , I have met one who turned out to live just down the rd so we are helping each other out a bit ; another couple will hopefully drop in soon , and there is a bit going on with willow and pigs I think it is fantastic and I am normally a miserable old git , so I am told .

I also went to the first river cottage meet in england about 3 years ago, which was a hoot. loads of people came, and I met lots of friends there. _________________ manure happens |

We have met Blowin, Rebecca and Squirrel1 now, through the website and the love of pigs. Hope to meet many more! _________________ Atholl and Diane Gow

Have met Camilles other half, she came to one of my feltmaking workshops. Also my husband met Moonwaves, she came to our stand at the Craft show in the RDS ... and I'm hoping to meet her soon too, she has offered to do some voluntary work here over a weekend, in return for the experience of running/living on a smallholding.
And hoping to meet Nick in the not too distant future as well.
Also met Diane and Atholl, they breed pigs and have yet to find other reputable breeders. D & A are hard to beat, they obviously have a love of all their rare breeds.
A few people who don't post, have also been in touch about our smallholding, goat and pig rearing courses ... we will be meeting them when they come along as well.
All wonderful and inspiring people, a great place to meet like minded folk. _________________ Relocation to the sticks.

Myself and OH went to see Spriosan about the polytunnel. Lovely lady, beautiful place .
Soon Tina is going to give our billy goat a new home!
I may have 'recruited' a new member, no confirmed sightings yet on my part. He lives only a few miles away, so yes I have met him too
.
