Hi Phil, there's a few good spots near charlestown I could show you. There's also a place near rhue on some land owned by the wifes cousin that's pickled with rabbits. I've never gone ferreting there but have shot rakes of them. So finding the warrens won't be a problem. Let me know and we could meet up.

it's on the opposite side of the road to the graveyard but further towards the school and in a good way. Do you know the Rchardsons? They have land next to it. I'm doing nothing sunday morning if you're around.

Sunday dinnertime-ish - weather permitting it is then.
Give me a call tomorrow and we'll firm it up. |

I am already wondering what you might accept in exchange for a couple of rabbits ! Not mature bucks , tho' , as I find their flavour to be a bit strong .

The main thing will be to give the ferret a bit of experience, but you never know we might be fortunate enough to get a couple, that would be a bonus.

I'll bring me gun, save going home empty handed - you never know but you can't expect too much of a novice. Might be sensible to bring a good digging spade as well.

I think the spade might be more useful than the gun.
