top marks for lateral thinking !I am not sure whether this is totally true but it seems that some venues in the uk have got round the smoking ban by calling themselves "theatres" rather than pubs or whatever . This enables them to use a loophole which permits actors to light up on stage if that is called for in the play they are performing . Anyone can become an actor whenever thay want and make up a few lines which need to be supported by a fag as a prop !
