The blue lightHad a couple of friends over for lunch on Sat , to enjoy a bit of GOS pork and see what they thought about the recent change of energies in the Faerie Wood . Weather wasn’t too bad until just before they arrived then it blew up one hell of a gale . OH was just finishing the gravey when there was an almighty crack and the whole area around the stove lit up with something like ultra-violet light for a split second . I thought the gas bottle had exploded . Soon became apparent that it was a lightning strike . I would guess that OH would have been better cooked than the pork if she hadn’t been wearing rubber-soled shoes .
We did not go down to the woods that day .

I agree -- fantastic at a distance but this one was just a little too close to home !
But those really wild , warm , windy nights when the storms seems to blow right thru you are something else , eh ?

ok .. I didn't understand that the thunder actually did hit you ...
because once that I was at Blowin's, a bang and flames came out of his range ... without any storm ...

Are you sure it wasn't Blowin trying to bypass the electricity meter.
