stone age tool ?

I found this piece of rock on the bed of a stream .Most of the stones around it had smooth edges but none matched the scalloping on this one . It fits beautifully in the right hand . The curves serve as finger-grips and the angle of the top is perfect for the thumb . As you can see , the bottom goes to a point -- so this would make a useful tool for striking something quite hard but with precision .
Is it one ?

bref

Yes

I have my doubts mate. Stone tools were very much a consumable item and break. I have a number of polished axe heads that are broken. In this case the polishing is required to produce the best cutting edge possible. The amount of work required to produce the handle and not the business end, only to have it break on the first blow would I think make it a non starter IMHO. It looks water warn to me.
