Hi W , your Q reminded me of that rhym which my mother used to say many years ago .
Up this way in Co sligo the bluebells are just beginning to flower , as is the blackthorn . Ferns are unfolding . The sap is rising .

You have to watch that!! Sap rising that is. You never know where that might lead you. Things are well advanced in the poly-tunnel and the ground has been ploughed up. I should get it all planted up this year. Veg sells well in the local country mart. So fingers crossed for some decent growing weather this year. Good luck mate.
