new internet scamAlong with all the usual scam emails offering to uncover my multi million £ inheritance or sell me viagra I have just had a new one which at first looks almost genuine .
Unfortunately I can't copy it into here for you to see but basically it purports to be from the bank Lloydstsb . It says your internet banking service may be disrupted unless you upgrade by clicking the link below .
It even says you will be required to give your " memorable information" .
For anyone who is not familiar with this type of scam , they might as well ask you to post them all your money and personal history right now . Genuine institutions will never ask for this information .
Delete any suspect message without opening it .
Nothing to do with self-sufficiency , I know , but thought it worth mentioning .

Yes guys. Watch for these. The Banks tell us that they will not contact us about security matters etc by any other means than by letter, and then the bank should be phoned to verify this. Make sure the contact phone number quoted is the normal one that you use. These f*****s are very smart and convincing

been having loads of these recently, from nearly every bank in uk and ireland apart from the bank im with. also been having loads of mails which start with "FROM" in the title, all have a jpeg to open, not sure what they are, anyone else having them......squ~
