last frost dates

Does anyone know the last frost dates for Ireland? In the states I can get a chart for the entire country but I cant seem to find anyhting like that here Confused Does such an animal exist or is it just so variable that no one bothers compiling such things for this country?

I have got frosts here in May. It all depends on the weather really. Stable anti-cyclonic weather like we are having now can produce a late frost. I planted my spuds here about 4 weeks ago and they should start to appear in a week or two. If a frost is forecast then I just cover them with straw. That will protect them through a short May frost.

The latest frosts I have observed here were in the first week of June but on average I believe the time for planting out tender things is mid-May.

yep we had frost again this morning ..

everything we grow is still under cover and will be for another good while ..

I wouldn't plant much outside until mid-may or so ..

I definitely need to make some cloches and other greenhouses because everything is growing so fast !
