Irish wildlife links

Smile Hi, I was delighted to find the forum and have just joined up as I've been looking for an Irish-based forum for quite a while.

I thought I'd share a couple of Irish wildlife links with anyone interested....

Hi and welcome Gardner. Its great to have someone from the SW here. Interesting links. How does your garden grow?

Thanks for the welcome - my garden is in need of a bit of jungle exploration! Sort of wild round the edges and the veg patch disappeared under blown-over sunflowers.....but it still looks good

The time of the year mate Wink

Hello Gardener, welcome and thanks for the links, that's more my type of stuff. I don't raise animals, just veg and gardens with lots of room for wild life. Looking forward to your contributions.

Welcome gardener,

with a name like that I'm sure I will have to pick up your mind from time to time because my veg garden this year was a disaster !

I'm more a "wanabee gardener" ..

I have been a wannabe Gardner for eighteen months now while we sort out our new place. This is now done and we should be moving Friday week Very Happy We have been renting and all the gardening that I have done is grow Toms in pots and cut over half an acre of grass twice a week Twisted Evil.

I have just found out that it is Gardener him/herself who launched and is continuing to develop the wildflower site http://www.irishwildflowers.ie/ but is a bit too modest to shout about it . Take a look if you haven't already done so . It is absolutely brilliant .
And there is a chance to help a fellow forum member , too , by casting a vote before 19 October . There is a link on the homepage and it is very simple to do . Wildflowers.ie is listed under the section headed " Educational Contribution " . I have looked at some of the others in that section and altho I am sure they are all very good , there is still no contest IMHO .
Nice one , Gardener , I am going to vote right now Wink .
