Hello from Wicklow!Hello - Just joined!! Got recommendation from Camile on boards.ie (My handle there is arctictree). I have been looking for a forum for a while for smallholders in Ireland and think I've found it now!!So I have a real job during the day and we live in an old cottage on 1.5 acres in Wicklow. I have dabbled in poultry for a few years. Now I have 3 hens and also have 4 light sussex 7 week old chicks which I hope to grow. I also grow lots of veggies esp potatoes... Thanks! Its great to see the weather and a view of the garden when I'm away. My next techie project is to put a webcam in the chicken pen. I should have live streaming internet video then of what the chicks are up to!! Mike |

And that is the biggest THERMOS flask I have ever seen . Still , it does say made in the USA so that might explain it . I had to put my little drop of toddy into a flask the last time I went onto a fishing pier over there so they wouldn't confiscate it . No drinking in public places in that State . I can't remember which one it was .

Ha! - Yeah, the soil gets stuck in between your toes when you try to work in the garden with no socks!!
BTW - I'm 33 and have been trying to avoid getting a real job for the last few years but keep running out of money!!! |

I can actually. 27/28 were the worst years as your neither one nor the other. It was an age that brought home the fact that I was not hip anymore. I did not like the music or the clothes etc, and some of the police were younger than me. Now approaching 60 its great. everyone thinks your old and past it and quite quite harmless
