Contorted WillAll my mature Contorted Willows have Canker. The leaves are black and withering. I have read that it can occur in damp areas..... well where else are you going to plant willow.
Should I leave them alone to recover...

No answer to that one mate. I have one and it is planted in the bog along with other willows and they are doing fine <touch wood>. They are in an exposed windy spot which may help.

I think you have a point there Wayland. Mine are in a relatively sheltered area and so the fungus can spread....but there again, where in the West is relatively sheltered.!!
