Changes is Nature

Read and heard on the news that there are major changes in the numbers of bumble and honey bees this year, some parts of the East coast are supposed to have few or none. Some say it is due to the proliferation of mobile phone masts.

Also on the BBC I heard that the numbers of migratory birds has fallen to about a third of previous years. I have read before that French and Italian shooters decimate the migrating flocks but this apparently does not explain the fall in numbers.

Any noticable changes where you are ? Any other changes in plant life etc.

I hardly ever see honey bees on my patch but everything seems to get pollinated so maybe that is down to my eyesight .
I have the impression that there are more Bumbles than last year . Hopefully a result of strimming the flags and rushes so the clover and other wildflowers  can grow through .
I am reserving judgement on the midge !!!   Twisted Evil
