Broad beans.

Hello,

Does anyone know when we can plant out the broad beans !?

Because we have some seedlings going strong (a good few true leaves on them) .. and I know they are hardy plant as you can overwinter them .. so I'm sure they won't mind the little morning frost we have ...

should I wait until they are taller ? if so, what height should I aim for before replanting in position ?

Thanks,
Camile

I would plant them out now. If a severe frost is due you gould put a bit of fleece over them but I think they will be fine. If they are rather long and sappy I may well give them some support as the wind may break them off.

Cool thanks for that ..

will certainly plant them out this weekend then ..
