can totally relate to your grumble... once had a bloke bang on the door at nearly midnight in a balaclava, rolled up, with a gun and a dog...

We used to do a fair bit of lamping. The whole neighbourhood would join in as it seemed the only effective method to control plagues rabbits. A very few people complained and these were townies, even though a warning was always was given. It was great fun

I'ved got no problem with the catching and eating of rabbits, or the method - just got frightened witless by the door being knocked on at that time of night by this bloke!  Anything that rids us of a rabbit is good with me: I'm a gardener!

Watch them most night out in the boglands. Funny no rabits - hare country uplands. Must be after the antlered bunny - not fair game IMHO
