We used to holiday in the IOW . I have just remembered that it is one of only 2 places that I have ever seen glow-worms in the uk . FWIW the other was on the Ascot racecourse but that was 25 yrs ago . Has anyone found them in ROI ?
This fledgeling forum has a great buzz and I think it can really develop into something . Welcome !

Many thanks for the warm welcome and I look forward to being involved as time and work allow.

Blowin glow worms still about over here they occur at a place called Headon Warren just up the road from me, and also at Parkhurst Forest.

I lucky living in the West of The Island as we are a main stopping off point for migrant birds in the spring. It was a first for me a couple of years ago in Kerry to see my first Chough. Very rair over here at present confined to West Corwall.

Wayland hopeing to relocate to North Kerry which is were the Wife's extended family are anyplace between Shannon Estuary and Tralee a bit of the main tourist traps which is nice.
Need to scope out the job market first we're both Mental Health workers and Psychotherapists but its difficult to get any accurate info re job prospects.
Hope your site continues to grow as its nice to have that contact with others of like mind in Ireland
