Lovely place and great pics -- particularly the last one . I don't know anything about photograhic techniques but the composition and use of light is stunning . Do you have a professional interest or is it just a hobby ?
I really like the " before & after " comparison , too . It is quite inspirational to see what can be done .
Nice job .
Pity you forgot to put stripes on the lawn

Blowin, still working on the stripes but the garden gnomes must come first.
Still another year or two to go before the major work will be done. Don't have a digger of my own apart from a shovel and wheelbarrow and my OH.... The only way to fill the place is to propagate my own stuff. You put 100 plants in the ground and there is no difference. We planted 400 trees in the first year and only now they are begining to make a difference to the overall appearance.
Any one else with before and after shots so we can get a few ideas for our own places?

It looks lovely Quarryman, particularly the pond. We have 5 acres, most of it meadow and are gradually trying to 'tame' it. We do have some before and after shots, will have to dig them out.
How much land do you have?

Hi there and welcome to the forum. Just over 3 acres. More than enough for the gardens but not enough for the dogs. Have a couple of new shots to put up, we took down one of the old beech trees, so we have a "little" bit of timber to sort out.

Any chance of including some pics of the things you have made from your logs and offcuts ? I find those very interesting .

Nice photos, and I like what you've done with some of the timber.
There are a few 'before' and 'after' shots of my place on the link below (haven't figured pictures on here yet, but I'll get there!)
Its in a bit of a different class though, started life about 80 years ago as a chicken house, last occupants 20 cattle......
