The local radio have issued a Coastguards' warning that a storm surge might produce rogue / random waves this weekend . I might have mis-heard but am sure they mentioned sixteen metres . That is huge !
The main point is that they will be random , so don't get caught out in an exposed position !

Ye Gods! I hope no one ventures out with that kind of warning. Coming from the east coast of the UK storm surges are not uncommon but sixteen metres . This cannot effect the SE I hope. We only get about a one metre tide and Wexford would disappear. Storms at sea are fun to watch from a safe distance me thinks.
