That was in New Zealand i worked a block of forestry for a while,possums do a lot of damage to young trees, there was a good market for dried skins at the time the old bloke in the picture did nothing else.

Not far off the mark. Did you come across a cartoon publication called Mud Flat Creek ? Made me laugh I can tell you. No humour realy, just real life in cartoon form.

I think there was a  cartoon called" Foot rot flats"with a character called Wally.
