The Green LIght is RTE's environment series on Radio 1. We're looking for someone who keeps a pig or two within an urban area to talk to us about their experiences.
We'd be most grateful if you could get in touch, should you be interested. Our email is environment@rte.ie
Many thanks!

are you having a laugh? pig keepers get enough funny looks in rural areas!
Good luck anyway... |

Hi greenlight , and welcome to the forum .
There are a few pigs around here but not much urban to go with them so I don't suppose that is much help to you . Sorry about that .
Just as a matter of curiosity , why pick on that particular topic ?
ps : I will move your post across to the "pigs" section . Feel free to copy it into the "Wanted" section , too , if you wish . _________________ we need more people to say something . |

| OK, OK it was me. Me and my missus were interviewed on Sunday afternoon and the programme was broadcast last night. As I said to that devious admin fella, many apologies for not remembering to tell anyone and for not plugging the forum. I'll find out when the podcast is available and post a link. |

Enjoy your moment of fame , I'd say . Newly appointed Social Secretaries deserve that !
For those of us who can't cast pods on account of a cr@ppy landline , could you tell us a bit about it ? It just seemed an unlikely subject and I am curious to know where the interviewer was "coming from" . _________________ we need more people to say something . |

Thanks Mick, nice to hear from another Wicklow man. I hope sometime in the very near future to be able to do that as I reckon it would be worthwhile being so close to the city.
