I thought this was a very interesting video on hydrogen fuel, the gentleman in question actually has his car running on it.
Water and a little electirc (not normally a good mix) and you have hydrogen and oxygen, on which he runs his car.

Yes, I have been watching this idea for quite a while. Not sure where it will go but an interesting idea. In the short term Bio fuel looks attractive as it does not need a purpose built unit, and will give a boost to the farmers. It id sad to see in the UK that if we make and run our vehicals on 100% Bio diesel we still have to pay a large amount of excise duty. _________________ Leave not a trace. |

I was running on Bio Diesel for about a year, until the maker got a big buyer who takes all he can produce...my only concern with Bio Fuels is that of Greed yet again, hence the large areas of forest that are being cleared to grow palm oil trees..allegedly!

This really is fascinating stuff. They hydrogen fuel cell produces almost no waste, just a little water. I recently looked into buying a bike powered by this technology but it seems that it is not yet comercially available. The possibilities for this power source are almost limitless and very very cheap to run. The only part that i am unclear on is how the fuel cell are produced and what kind of carbon foot print this produces. It suerly though must be smaller than burning oil. Here is a link to the bike website if any one is interested. Peace

If I understand this correctly. This is a Hydrogen powered generator that powers an electric bike?
