I kniow and understand that slurry is a part of country and farming life. But right now the smell is making me nauseous. Yesterday evening between 6 and 8pm slurry was spread in the field next door. The smell hit me and nearly knocked me out. I had all the doors and windows closed but it seems to be in everything. Even eating dinner wasnt nice as I could "taste" slurry. I thought it would be gone this morning but no, the smell is just as strong and hanging around. No wind out, overcast and looks like showers. The fiels is a lovely shade of "muck" now and there is no escaping the smell.
As I say, I have no problem going out for a walk and getting a whiff of slurry for a while and then walking by it but 12 hours now in the house sitting in the smell is getting to me.
