A scouse woman is pulled over by a policeman on the way out of
manchester . is there a problem officer /yes madam you are speeding/really .may i see your licence please /I’d give it to you but i don’t have one/don’t have one /no lost it after drink driving four times /may i see your vehicle registration papers please/no cant do that either /why not/well i stole the car/stole it /yep after i killed and chopped up the owner /you what/lost my temper it was messy his body is in the boot of the car if you want to see it /the policeman looks at the woman for a second and backs away to his car and calls for reinforcements .with a minute there are more police cars circling them..a police man approached the car he clears his throat ,the calls to her .please step out and away from your vehicle/she does /is there a problem sir,/one of my officers told me you have stolen this car and murdered the owner /yes . / could you open the boot of your car please/she does and they both look down in to an empty space/is this your car madam /yes here are the registration papers the seargent scans through them and sees that they are in order ,my officer claims you do not have a driving licence/the women rummages through her bag and then hands her licence to the puzzled sergeant/ mrs smith my officer told me you don’t have a licence ,that you stole this car and you murdered and dismembered the owner////

Woman replies : I’ll bet the lying manchester b*stard told you i was speeding too .

I have just realised that we southerners are probably missing half of the joke . A Scouser is from Liverpool , not Manchester as I originally put in the title ( since corrected ) . There is considerable rivalry between the two cities so in the punchline the Scouser not only gets off the fine but also gives the enemy a poke in the eye . Phew , that was hard work .

I know that we have a couple of members from Derbyshire who would not thank you for calling them Yorkshiremen Wink

Are there any notable rivalries like that over here ? I am sure there must be so .... bring on the jokes !
