I have PB registered Old Spot weaners and young gilts for sale. I also have some Duroc x Saddlebacks that will be, within weeks, fit for killing. All reasonably priced.

| Hello Patrick, I don't have Pb Old Spot bons ready to go just yet but will have around April time. At the moment I have 2 large litters of Old spot / Duroc crosses that will be ready in a couple of weeks. |

I really could'nt tell you until they're weaned - they are from good sows but that does'nt mean to say they will tick all the boxs.
There is concern amongst breeders in England that one of the downsides of 'rare breed' pigs getting popular is that standards have slipped considerably in the last couple of years.
In Ireland there are even fewer breed lines available and importing from England is expensive. So I have decided to sell breeding gilts only to members of the BPA or Gloucestershire Old Spots Pig Breeders Club. Joining either is easy and it hopefully ensures the breed line(s) can be monitored and maintained here.
Beware. There are people selling all sorts of mixs as pb's - I drove miles to buy Saddlebacks only to find they were belted Tamworth like buggers. You mentioned Oxford Sandy's - I have some Old Spots/Duroc x's here that are ringers for them (if anyones interested).
