Following a chat with another member of the forum last night here's the question.
With Winter on it's way should we encourage the wearing of mink coats amongst the members.
1 to keep warm
2 to kill off the over population of the little feckers.

I think wearing leather should be encouraged if you can afford a mink coat good on yer,i have a pair of gloves made out of poodle skin and a dalmation waistcoat which i wouldn't part with.

I don't believe in killing anything without good reason , and good reason doesn't include hunting / fishing etc just for sport , but IMHO mink should be taken out whenever possible because they are a top of the food chain predator with no natural control . They take fish , fur and fowl without discrimination and give nothing back . Turn them into very expensive fur coats which will be worn by people who do the same then apply a retrospective tax on the pelts and use that money to restore the wildlife which is near to extinction .
I use the tails instead of a paintbrush or bunny tail to pollinate flowers . That , of course , should be exempt from tax !!
