I have made this roof rack the length is 86 inches the length of fronty roof is 75 inches so it will over hang the windscreen by about 1 foot, does any one know of any laws relating to roof racks overhanging windscreens
I intend to weld angle iron on sides in 4 places, drill holes through angle iron and bolt it to my mont blank roof rack rails that are fixed onto the frontys roof rails, can any one see any law rules concerning the uprights on the corners and the uprights down the sides and the windscreen overhang even though it does not block any view line and it does not overhang over sides of jeep
I made it from an old sea saw and angle iron
Thanks for answers in advance
Phil

I have seen roof racks go right to the front bumper on landies so I would think that yours will be fine. Good luck.
