It is a bit early yet but you will soon begin to see the light green leaves of this common plant . Pick them when young , stems about 4" high . You will notice their perfumey smell . Cook and serve as you would spinach . IMHO this is one of the few wild vegetables worth eating .
Do not be tempted to introduce it into your veg garden tho' as it is very invasive and difficult to remove once established . An absolute sod , in fact ! |

First introduced into the UK by the Romans as a saladin. Just a bit of trivia for you`s all. cheers.
